Release Notes

How JamEMR releases work during the pilot program, and where product release notes will be published once JamEMR reaches general availability.

How releases work during the pilot

JamEMR is in its pilot stage, and releases during a pilot work differently than they will at general availability. We are being straightforward about that rather than publishing a changelog that would imply a maturity the program has not reached yet.

During the pilot:

  • Updates are deployed to pilot practices directly, coordinated with each practice and validated as part of the guided deployment relationship. Pilot partners hear about changes from us, not from this page.
  • Database changes ship as versioned migrations, so every deployment’s schema state is known and upgrades are repeatable and reviewable.
  • Changes are driven by pilot feedback. The cadence follows what pilot practices need, not a fixed calendar.

What will change at general availability

When JamEMR reaches general availability, this page becomes the canonical public record of what changed and when. At that point you can expect:

  1. Versioned releases with dated, public release notes.
  2. Clear labeling of new features, improvements, fixes, and any breaking changes.
  3. Advance notice for changes that require administrator action.

We will not backfill invented history — the record starts when the record starts.
